This is the latest addition to my list of puzzles I sincerely intend to own one day in the relatively near future. I saw this one on one of the Facebook jigsaw puzzle pages early this morning and immediately fell in love with it.
I suppose what drew me to this one so powerfully is the perspective from which this puzzle's view is taken. Most usually, of course, any puzzle featuring one of Venice's canals would be created from the perspective of being on the water and coming directly toward some of that city's beautiful buildings while others pass the viewer by on the right and left. That this one takes such a different perspective both gives the puzzle a relatively unique look, and helps the puzzler imagine what it would be like to live inside one of those beautiful buildings along Venice's canals.
The good news is that this is not an overly expensive puzzle and can be had right now for $16.99 from The Jigsaw Puzzle Factory - although at this moment, the "cart" function seems to be down for some reason and the puzzle can only be placed on your "wish list" for now.
